Castagno Room
Minimo 3 notti a 89€ a notte
Description
For your holidays in Corsica choose the Castagno Room. This lovely room owes its name to the centuries-old beams that run along the ceiling forming its structure, like the camera Ulivo.
The room offers a double view: from the window you can see the village houses, while the French door leads to a small balcony from where you can see an old observation tower.
The fortification recalls the origins of the village of Cagnano, a village originally from Cap Corse, which extended along the old walls.
Still today, by strolling down the main street of the town you can get a glimpse of the family life of Captain Giovanni Simonpietri.
The Castagno Room features a restored late eighteenth-century built-in closet with doors in chestnut wood, and a charming pétineuse with a marble top as part of the furniture.
